     Today is Carl Michael Yastrzemski's birthday.  For me personally, even though by the early 80's he wasn't the player he once was, he was a childhood hero, larger than life, immortal even.  (And I'm not the only one that felt this way)

     And then the events of a couple days ago hit and we've all got a perspective on how mortal both Yaz and our childhood perceptions are.  This song is for Yaz, this song is for us.
