Q: My most memorable Red Sox related memory is...
A: Aside from the playoff run in 2004 of course...definately my first time ever at Fenway in 1996. Sox were down 5-3 going into the 9th against the Angels. Mo Vaughn hit a walk off 3 run homer to win it. The place went nuts and I've been obsessed with the Sox ever since...not a bad way to end my first game at Fenway. Now twice in 2007, I was at both Game 7 of the ALCS against the Indians and Clay Buchholz's no-hitter against the Orioles. Not a bad 2 games to get to see.
Q: If I owned the Red Sox I would...
A: I can't complain about the current ownership, they spend money to field a competitive team and keep making improvements to Fenway that makes the ballpark the most unique place to see a game in the majors.
Q: If I could ask one current or former Red Sox player or owner one question, I would ask...
A: Harry Frasee what the hell he was thinking by selling Babe Ruth to fund a f*&king musical...No No Nanette, are you kidding me??
Q: The Yankees are...
A: What I hate more than anything in life. I depise the Yankees, I respect what they've done and how often they seem to contend, but I hate their players, their owner and their fans. A large majority of Yankee fans are front-running, bandwagon pieces of garbage who know nothing about the game.
Q: My favorite stadium other then Fenway Park is...
A: Wrigley Field. Such a simple ballpark, but amazing at the same time, there's nothing like taking in a game from the bleachers in Wrigley.
Q: I wish Fenway Park had...
A: cheaper beer
Transplanted Sox fan...originally from Brockton, MA but currently in enemy territory in NY, just outside of Albany. I'm 24, graduated college in 2005 and currently work in sports for the AHL hockey team in Albany. I have a Sox tattoo on my upper right arm that I've had since early 2004 and I rarely miss a Sox game on TV. Usually try to make it out to about 3-5 games at Fenway a year...and I look forward to moving back to Beantown in the not too distant future.
