Q: My most memorable Red Sox related memory is...
A: i have only ever been 2 a game at fenway once, and unfortunately, was 2 young 2 remember... so my memory does not involve yawkey way. in 2003 (its still painful 2 think of this season) i was in rhode island for a long weekend 2 attend the URI homecoming events. i happened 2 be in providence 2 see the water fires on an evening the red sox were facing the dreaded yankees in a play-off game. my mom, our friend bob, and i were fighting 4 a good position 2 watch the gondolas light the fires throughout the city, when we heard an outburst from a few doors up the street. men & women alike were decked out in red sox gear, flooding out of a bar.... shouting fight, fight, fight. in the mayhem that followed, all i kept hearing was that the benches had cleared, pedro had thrown zimmer across the pitchers mound.... and of course, how much those damn yankees sucked!!!!
Q: If I owned the Red Sox I would...
A: keep them exactly as they are. they most certainly have an undeniable chemistry that no other team in the major leagues can even begin 2 touch!!!

A: lol.... manny will u marry me??? I KNOW, I KNOW... he's already married, but it really cant hurt a girl 2 ask, rite???

A: is this question even neccessary??? seriously, now. the yankees are dispicable, along with so many other choice adjectives.... absolute scum!!

A: being from baltimore, i feel obligated 2 say camden yards....u know, FENWAY SOUTH!!!

hey!! im megan, about 2 turn 24, and have been a faithful member of rsn for about 4 years now. i was born & raised in baltimore & on the orioles... my family bleeds black & orange... they are hardcore!! i hear stories of the "good old days" at memorial stadium when the o's consisted of brooks, frank, boog, cal, and so many more magical players. over the past decade, the orioles have quickly lost their magic (atleast in my eyes). about 7 years ago i met my dear friend bob, who was born & raised in rhode island (thus a red sox fan 4 life). bob has opened my eyes 2 boston & the charm of the sox. i guess that is why i am such a die-hard fan now... the red sox simply have that "magic" that so many teams no longer posess..... Hey Luv, go to see ya. No, I did not make it to the parade but I will make it to the Trophy Tour part 2. They will have both the 07' and 04' trophies making the rounds. I miss it the last time around but I will not miss it this time, I will be photographed with the two Holy Grails of RSN.
