About Me
"HIGH SPEED DIRT" I was born into the nation back in 1973-1975 timeframe along w/the Bruins. I did not understand the history behind the madness until 1986 and boy I was crushed. At that time, I realized that the Sox had a monkey on there back and also learned at that time it was called "the curse of Babe Ruth". I have watched the Sox over the years saying next year is it, only to fail, damn Yankees. The history is freaking great and again in 2003, I thought it was the year in the Bronxs, I was in Iraq and believe it or not we had a tv and it was covering it. Arron freaking Boone, I was not mad at Tim Wakefield, bless his little heart. 2004, the year that would turn the nation upside down and with the drama at work, being down 0-3 and a 18-7 ass whooping, I said no this can't be. The rest is history and thank you Boston Red Sox for making it happen. I have two daughters back in NH and one is a Sox fan and the other is confused and claims to be a Spankee fan. I have been in the US Army since 1992 and almost at the end of this journey. I am a Career Counselor and currently stationed in Vicenza, Italy w/ HSC, SETAF. Been stationed at the following post: Ft Lewis, Wa, Ft Benning, GA, Vilseck, Germany, FT Bragg,NC, CRC, Korea and a trip to I'crack" tour from 2003-04 (OIF I). I love my job and country and thank you for all your support. I am on myspace also at the following link.
