About Me

Ted Williams once said, "Baseball is the only field of endeavor where a man can succeed three times out of ten and be considered a good performer." and I couldn't agree more. Baseball is a rarity and the Sox are the bread and butter of baseball. Where else can you find the fanfare, the commradarie, and the heart and soul of America's past time? At a Sox game. Hey, they call me Ricky and that's usually what I go by. I came into this world on a chilly November night in 1987, wearing red socks. My first trip to the Fens changed my life. I walked up the walkway, into the bleacher seats, and it took my little breath away. Mo Vaughn was my first favorite Sox player. I bleed Red and am a proud member of The Nation (who isn't?!). There's a few things that I love in this world and it can be summed up like this: baseball, music, and friends and family. Without these key components, I'd be lost. I can get way too competetive and sometimes lose my head. I love meeting new people. and I like listening to anyone give a valid point, regardless of where I stand. I hate mint chocolate chip ice cream and crappy movies. I'm here to talk Sox all day, baby, and just can't get enough info. I'm constantly filling up my noggin with random facts and off the wall knowledge. There's two great things about life: free stuff and Red Sox.
