i concede that maybe i do suck at this blogging thing and therefore i will no longer post any blogs, or comment on anyone's blogs as that may constitute my "sucking at writing or commenting on blogs".it's not the end of the world if i don't comment on here again, i'm sure Trotdawg will testify to that. so now i retire and hope to at least keep up with the people i know on here.god bless and good-bye

i think i made my point about this site being full of bandwagon fans who only look to self-promote THEIR idea of who is a red sox fan on the basis of how well their blogs are written.look i'm sorry i'm not carribis or darkhalf, but to rate someone neagtive just on that basis is wrong, just explain why and maybe i and others would show less animosity

hopefully this is the year that Dice-K shows his mettle and toughness as a top pitcher and proves to the world that he belongs in the MLB.he has certainly shown the fans and his team mates that he can get the job done, with a little work and some run support i think he, maybe, he can be a 20+ win pitcher this yeari really do think he is that good of a pitcher, and only if he could control the amount of walks he gives he would then be a monster at fenway and any other park he pitches in.

i know i will be ready, i'll be up at 5am with a pot of coffee and waiting, now there are only 2 unfortunate things for me that are associated with this game being on so early.1. the game is on ESPNEWYORK2. and we have to more than likely listen to morgan and miller rant about the yankees most of the game, even though the Sox and the A's are the ones playingbut other than that i look forward to a new year of Red Sox baseball

i am wicked siked that he is gonna stay!
and believe me when i say i would bet by the end of spring training that they sign him to a decent extension, now as far as the yrs on that deal go who knows how long it will be.
now will it be as long as the one they gave nomah when he was eligible, i doubt it, considering the trend nowadays where ya don't see a contract going for more than 5 yrs.
i hope they keep him around for a long long time because i feel at the heart of this Red Sox team...

but if Mike Lowell does not sign with the Red Sox,
he is going to end up in a Yankees uniform, i don't care how much Lowell

this site is horrible, it is now banning people from the live chat for cheering the red sox? these people are not fans what they did is started it out as a fan site to get people to sign up see..........
now it seems the owners/sox haters are turning it into a social networking site
i am probably going to get banned from the site, but i could careless because city of champions chat is way better
this site needs to be shutdown because it is not a true fan site when it bans people...

is it me or am i seeing more and more critics coming from most new england newspapers that once blindly followed and rooted for the sox they are now literally booing and damning the sox and calling them dead and no good for the playoffs (maybe not all of that they said but close enough to the truth)
the herald kisses their ass to get a show on NESN, and then their columnist bash the sox in their papers. go figure.

how many times have we seen the Red Sox with bases loaded and they end up coming away with nothing, and ya know what stinks even more? is that they get loaded bases with 1 out or less, it's unbelievable how often they choke in that situation, and just to clarify something Youkilis may have a high OBP, but he strikes out ALOT!

also the Sox have i think 6 games coming up against weaker AL east opponents, so presumably they could clinch the division when they are at home against the yankees later this month.

Dave Magadan has got to be the worst hitting coach in the league. i mean the guy has a sh*&t load of talent to work with but isn't getting anywhere. sure Big Papi is hot but it's no good if the rest of the guys are stinking it up. i mean what was Ron Jackson doing that was so bad? i mean they had a bad ass hitting coach in Papa Jack, but they bring a pussy whipped Magadan. the sox brass once again find a way to sabotage the teams' oppourtunity for success just to save a buck, pathetic

well magic number is at 29 and counting pending the outcome of the yanks and tigers game. if the yanks lose that game it wil be 28.
just in case you forgot i will explain as briefly as i can how it works. the number goes down with a Red Sox win or a Yankees loss or both. if the Sox win and the Yanks lose the number goes down by 2, if the Sox lose but the Yanks lose also it goes down by 1.
now i know you guys and gals are just as enthusiastic as i am to see the yanks crumble and the sox...
