some red sox fans and supporters looking more like turncoats

is it me or am i seeing more and more critics coming from most new england newspapers that once blindly followed and rooted for the sox they are now literally booing and damning the sox and calling them dead and no good for the playoffs (maybe not all of that they said but close enough to the truth)

the herald kisses their ass to get a show on NESN, and then their columnist bash the sox in their papers. go figure.

but i will tell you now, if and when the sox win, every procrastanator (hope i spelled that right) that doubted the sox and said they sucked or said they will lose will be the first people to say i told you so, and that's when they should stop being citizens of RSN and just be ordinary baseball fans because no team deserves disloyalty and malice, not the least a very unfaithful "fan"

	Amen. I was worried as hell and panicking after wednesdays game but i still love my team. After having yesterday to contemplate it i'm back in my full sox fervor. Beleive and have faith. GO SOX 10:59 AM

	thats right. back in may this was one of the best red sox teams ever put together. since they hit a bad streak all these phonies wanna give up on them. they should get there RSN citizenship revoked. esp. one guy in the forum "Matt-suzaka" 2:50 PM

I am a true Sox fan and I am feeling pretty bad about the team's performance in September. I will "bash" a player for poor performance and sometimes "bash" the whole team for poor performance. That doesn't mean that I have given up on our beloved Red Sox. The critics want the team to succeed and expect more than a sub-par team especially at this critical time of year. I enjoy hearing these "naysayers" in the Sawxheads game chat because when the Sox are playing terrible baseball I feel the frustration as much as anyone else. I wouldn't say these people are "giving up" but they are venting. So if I make a comment about Gagne, Drew, or Tito not living up to their expectation it doesn't mean I'm not a fan. I want our team to take the A.L East, the A.L. Championship, and the World Series. I love the Red Sox but I'm not loving the way they've played this month.
