What really Grinds my gears.....
US Boston fans are not typical sports fans....obviously. We are much different than other fans accross the nation. We take our sports teams to heart. Its NOT just a GAME. This is War, This is Life, This is BOSTON.
More often than not we are very vocal about our opinions. Wich is fine becuase i respect to an extent anyone that has a LOGICAL well thought out opinion. HOWEVER, there are those few ignorant, emotional a$$holes who dont think before they speak. The speak Impulsively.
I was at the game on wednesday night with BEAUTIFUL seats directly behind the toronto dugout. There was a handful of people in the section that where bashing Wakefield. Now Wake is my favorite player in the game and to be honest with you i am biased when it comes to his defense. HOWEVER these characters where throwing him under the bus...saying hes old, he cant hang, pull em....
WAKEFIELD went 7 strong innings only giving 3 runs up...WTF!?
Anyway i neeeded to get this off of my chest because there is alot of fans out there that Sheeeit all over the guy who is chasing the winningest pitcher in franchise history...
