Many of you have been advocates for the Boston Red Sox to allow longtime fan favorite and former player Johnny Pesky to be allowed to return to the dugout during games - although in all honesty,I believe that MLB is the culprit here - to be with the team that he loves so much.Well,Mr.Pesky is in for a much bigger honor.I have posted the tag for the story in the Boston Herald that Steve Buckley just broke about the team getting ready to retire his uniform number. What do...

| Seeing as how the Red Sox are headed north to Toronto to start a series with the Blue Jays,I thought I'd take some time to give you some facts about them.1]Blue jays are native to the Nearctic region. They are common in southern Canada and in the United States, east of the Rocky Mountains.2]Blue jays prefer mixed woodlands, particularly those with clearings. They are also common in suburban areas and city parks.3]Blue jays are bright blue on top and whitish gray on the...

That's quite the achievement considering some of the great hitters that have played for the Boston Red Sox.

As much talk as there is about the increasing revenue sharing and parity in baseball, money remains as good an indicator as any when assessing a team's chances...
