Ok this happened this summer, I can't honestly remember why I forgot to tell you.
This summer on a 3 day shopping excursion in Portland, Maine, I was in Lids, a cool hat store(although i don't wear hats, & if you've seen me in one you know why.) & while this really creepy 23 year old dude is flirting with me, I see a little kid of about 8 or 9 with a JONATHAN PAPELBON shirt on. Cool cool I'm thinking that kid knows who to like, next thing I know I see the creepy guy put a Yankees hat on his head, I say "take that off of him right now, he's a Red Sox fan obviously!!!!", The dude says " he wanted it."
OH HECK NO. First of all if it were my kid, (which it wouldn't be because I'm not having any little darlings.) he would be wearing a Dustin shirt!(: & he would never ever put on, touch, let alone look at Yankees hat with his sensitive retinas. I felt like kicking that boy & HIS PARENTS! I just couldn't BELIEVE it. Now that's what you call a confused child. He needs some lessons on being a good baseball fan. Regardless of whether it's Red Sox or the Yankees.
4 years today. Seems like yesterday I was watching the game with my sister & dad.
MOMENT OF REFLECTION....................
One year tomorrow since 07.
Carl won yesterday & Saturday! it was a good weekend for my man!(:
Oh jeeze did anybody see the Phillies pitcher hit a home run last night?! That was some cool stuff.
