HOW DOES A SLUGFEST WORK?
Any member of SawxHeads can create a slugfest. All it takes is a topic you feel strongly about and someone to debate it with.
- First, decide if you'll challenge a fellow SawxHeads member or leave it open for anyone on SawxHeads to debate.
- Next, enter your topic. Make sure your Slugfest statement is clear and concise - a true or false type statement works best..
- Make your case with the first of five arguments.
- Once your Slugfest has been submitted, the member you've challenged will receive a EMail and has 3 days to accept the challenge. If they choose not to accept, the Slugfest expires and does not count against either record. If it's an open Slugfest, it will remain available to other Sawxheads.com members for 3 days.
- Once the Slugfest is accepted, each opponent will have 24 hours to make a their next argument.
- Other SawxHeads members can vote while the debate is in progress and they can change their vote at any time. Once each opponent has made five arguments the Slugfest is open to be voted on by all members of SawxHeads for another 24 hours.
