www.wcsh6.com - It took the Boston Red Sox 86 years to win the world series and just three more years to win it again. But, no matter how many times they win the series, sox fans in Maine will never tire of seeing the coveted trophy. Monday, representatives from the Red Sox brought the trophy to eastern Maine. The first stop, the Maine Army National Guard base in Bangor. Governor John Baldacci escorted the trophy in, he then took pictures with guard families and the 35 pound trophy.
