The Boston Red Sox needed this day off - and even with rain in the forecast, they traveled to Black Rock Country Club for Tim Wakefield's annual "Pitching in For Kids" golf tournament.
But just who is the best golfer in the Sox clubhouse? Chris Collins asked Wakefield his thoughts as tournament host. Plus, the knuckleballer weighed in on the team's April slump, and whether he was concerned.
As you might expect from a pitcher whose bread-and-butter is a pitch you don't have a lot of control over, Wakefield was hardly rattled, noting, "I'm just glad it has happened in April, and not in September."
