Posted by Nick Cafardo, Globe Staff September 9, 2008 05:02 PM

Industry sources have confirned that NESN play-by-play man Don Orsillo has agreed to a four-year deal to remain as the Sox' play-by-play man. The deal runs through 2012.

The deal also allows Orsillo to broadcast for TBS in the post-season.

But, without reading the entire article, I would assume that it is the same as years past, where he will do post season games, but will not be allowed to do Sox games. That sucks! I think that Jerry and Don should be allowed to broadcast Sox playoff games, they are easily the best in the business.
