It was another great year with a tough ending. This era will be looked upon as the Red Sox era.From 2003 to ??? we had alot of fun.
Tough one but appreciate the year. Nest year will be a different team. We will miss some of these players like Timlin, Wakefield, Varitek, Kotsay, Casey, Byrd and who knows. Some if not all will be gone.
Let's enjoy the off season. I'm already looking forward to 2009.

I agree! After the game 5 comeback, that was just SO huge for us and I felt that no matter what happened after that game, I was intensely proud. No one can ever take that away from us. So, we didnt make it to the WS. So, what? Considering the injuries we had this season, it shows the talent and teamwork of the guys to get to game 7 of the ALCS.

We had a great season and theres nothing to hang the head about.The only problem I am having today is gettin used to not having the sox to watch.They become part of your every day life during the season and ya get lost after its over for a few days.Got to find a new routine so to speak 10/20/2008 6:01 PM |

my head didnt hang for a minute.in fact i went out there proudly wearing my red sox gear to work!hat coat shirt.I Thanked them for the y ear on Jacobys blog.I hope the majority of us feels that way.I know theres a few who thought things were run the wrong way.id like to see those people do better. 10/21/2008 6:41 AM |
