Bullpen session leaves Penny, Red Sox smiling

Brad Penny threw a bullpen session Wednesday morning at the Red Sox' Player Development Complex and the results pleased the right-hander. His new pitching coach and manager were thrilled, too.

The way I feel now, I shouldn't have any setbacks," admitted Penny. "I just need to stay with my shoulder work and try to stay in the best shape I can. Everything else will take care of itself."

	Well I'm definently not sold on Penny but I would rather take a shot on him at the price the Sox did as apposed to what the Yanks paid overated/underperforming AJ Burnett 02/11/2009 10:07 PM

	I still cant get over how much the yankees paid AJ Burnett $88 million thats WAY WAY WAY too much. His best year was 18-10 thats not that grate. Oh not to mention the 10 Dl trips. All i know is this guy better win 20 or the skanks fans are going to be calling for a trade 02/11/2009 11:52 PM

	Well, he is overweight, with a big gut showing, compared to Becket, who looked in good physical shape. We'll see if it matters, but 4th starter is still a question mark for me. 02/12/2009 11:42 AM
