It was highly entertaining when the New York Post reported late last night that the Dodgers had offered Manny Ramirez $60 million over two years; which would have made him the highest-paid baseball player in history. The claim is highly dubious, coming as it did minutes before Ramirez declared free agency. At any rate, it's your move, New York Yankees.

	I'm amazed that Manny hasn't yet declared his "support" for the McCain/Palin ticket....but then, he probably wants "equal compensation" to that of the "total makeover" (at OUR expense) that the Republicans gave to Ms. Palin....(I didn't know that Republicans even EXISTED in the Dominican Republic, for that matter !!!) 10/31/2008 3:50 PM
