In this article that was posted on SI.com yesterday,Jon Heyman gives us the reasons why they won't be in the post-season plus other baseball musings..."The Yankees have no chance to get into the playoffs,'' asserted one American League scout. "I watch this team, and it's just not a playoff team.''

They sure do suck as they lost today. Saw the finale scole whixh watching the Rays on Fox. Rays are down 2-1 to Birds but is only 2nd inning. GO BIRDS

To anyone else that read this article he says "The team with the $209-million payroll and four locks for the Hall of Fame may yet be capable of a surprise, or two." Okay so A-Rod, Jeter and Rivera are the three locks for the hall that I can think of, but who's the fourth? Mussina isn't a lock, Abreu isn't a lock, neither is Giambi, Damon, Posada, Pettitte, anyone else on that team is not a lock for the Hall. Anyone have any idea who the fourth Yankee could be? It would have been Torre if he was still around but there's still not a fourth current Yankee that I can see as a sure lock for the Hall of Fame, no way. ...View More
