This has been talked about and debated for ages:Did Babe Ruth call a home run in a WS game against the Chicago Cubs 76 years ago ? Jack Curry of The New York Times brings us the story of a 10-year old boy who was at that game and what he remembers happening...Lincoln Landis has a story to tell. It is from 76 years ago, back when he was 10 and he sat in a front-row seat for a World Series game at Wrigley Field. Landis’s story is about a famous uncle, about Babe Ruth’s called shot and about a boy-turned-octogenarian’s desire to describe what he saw.

	I had heard once that years later babe fessed up and said no he didnt call the shot that day.It was a while back and I am not sure where I heard it.So if its true or not I am not sure 08/31/2008 1:01 PM
