That won't be until Tuesday, of course, and their home opener against Detroit, but the Boston Red Sox are, at least, back in the Eastern time zone.
They're here for the weekend, these Sox – and tonight's 32nd Blue Jay home opener – putting the lid on the first three-country road trip in major-league history.
The Jays just happened to have been the last team the Sox faced in Florida, when they were still enjoying anything remotely resembling routine – life-blood to ballplayers.
That would've been back on March 19, when the Sox broke camp in Fort Myers to embark on a 19-day, roughly 16,000-mile odyssey to Tokyo, Los Angeles, Oakland and now, finally, 1 Blue Jays Way.
