About Me
Sox Fan in NY...Yea Holler
The names Ryan, everyone calls me Sid becasue of my last name, Siddon. I am 18 years old, and i blow out the candles on August 1st. I love the Dave Matthews Band. Number 1 sox fan in New York baby. I am from Upstate New York, right on the CA border. I have been a sox fan since about 2000, when i was 10 years old. I used to enjoy watching the Montreal Expos since I only lived an hour away. I grew up watching Vlad Guerrero hitting homers in Olympic stadium. I have been a baseball fan all of my life. I am an outcast in my town, because out of 20,000 people, only about 3 of us like the Sox, and one of those guys is my dad, lol. In 2003 i remember the Sox and Yanks rivalry getting even more heated up than it was. But in 2004 we made it to the ALCS and i watched every second of it. I remember staying up until 2 in the morning with school the next day. My mother and I would be watching it together, oh, and I can't forget my dog, Abby. Game 4, i was about to cry until that miracle happened. And then.....it happened, the Sox had a major comeback. The day the Sox won the series i held my head up high and bragged to everyone in my town. 2007, same deal, Game 5 vs the Indians, i thought it was over but Beckett pulled us through. Held my head up high once again and bragged even more.
I will always remember those 2 playoff years like it was yesterday...
I am proud to be known as a Sox fan, and an outcast.
