Q: My most memorable Red Sox related memory is...
A: First Sox game - vs. Orioles, Sept. 7, '79, Fenway. Sox lost 2-1. Rice hit one over the Monster, Yaz got a base hit then the scoreboard said that Yaz had 13 to get to 3,000 hits (I also remember seeing that image on the news a few days later), Burleson grounded out and carried the bat halfway up the line and Dewey played catch in between innings with a bullpen guy.

Chris here. Grew up in Lynnfield, moved out to UNLV after high school in '90 and stayed here. Maybe you saw me on TV with the Rebels Pep Band in '91. Married 10 years with a daughter and a son due on Dec. 31, of all dates. Former pro musician (still semipro on the side) but now a table games dealer in Vegas. Born-Into-It Sox fan. You know, the usual. Had a great time at all 3 games in San Diego this year and finally made it out to Anaheim last year. Would have gone in '05 but a my daughter's birth was pending! They even had El Tiante throw out the first pitch at Petco on Saturday night! What a treat that was... My dealing audition story: I was putting off becoming a dealer for a little, only because we were in the playoffs and began winning in the ALCS! So, the day of Game 6 I go out and secure a craps audition at Joker's Wild. It's for the next night - Game 7. So, I watch the first couple/few innings, then have to take off for the casino - it's only 10 minutes from the house. I pull into my parking space as I hear Damon's slam land on the radio. After about an hour-and-a-half I leave (I got the gig) and they're bringing Pedro in. So I get food, rush home and watch the end, still on pins and needles. So!! My first night of work was the night we won it all!
