My fiance' (who is marrying into the Nation & has also never been to Fenway) wanted to get us tix for the Angels game on the April 22nd as a gift to me for our upcoming wedding (April 26)so I get my ass up at 6:30 PST and get online hoping....well after waiting for 8 hrs of " We are experiencing very high demand. As a result, all requests for seats cannot be served simultaneously. Please be patient, and your browser will be refreshed in"...blah,blah,blah .. and also calling for two hours I got nothing. Anyhow, I didn't want to miss out on our limited window, so I checked Stubhub and was able to get centerfield bleacher tix (normally $26 -- for $65).Incredible how they get tix first and are able to mark up the price so much. We're getting married in Providence (easier for family), so at least while we are there, we can go to a game next season. Best bet for me has been to go to Petco (standing room tix $7). Something needs to be done! It's bad enough regular prices are so expensive. I also got tix to Pawsox game on April 19th (she also has never been to McCoy), so it will be a great trip...besides us getting married. :-) posted @ 12/09/2007, 9:54am |
