About Me
I am a big New England area sports fan, being raised in the Boston area I lived and died with the Red Sox fortunes every year.
I still remember to this day vividly the day we were let out of school early so we could go home and watch the one game playoff between the Sox and the Skanks in 1978..plus my disappointment of the end of that game and, to this day Bucky "fu..kn" Dent!.
I loved the last 2 world series win's and the ability to attend some of those ALCS and WS games, will forever stay with me as some of the most vivid times of my life!
I am also a huge NE Patriots fan, being a season ticket holder since 1992. I have seen some lean times and some success at Foxboro, I have some great memories of some of the championship games played there (Oakland, "snow bowl" comes to mind right away)
Plus traveling and attending a couple of Super Bowls ( XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX) will stay in my memory forever!
I travel a lot for work, so I have been able to watch the Sox in many other venues, and at the same time be a proud Sox fan in another stadium (even if at times it gets me a little more attention then I am looking for, especially at Yankee (SkanK) Stadium). And yes I do wear my Red Sox gear at Yankee Stadium!!!
I travel a lot for work and currently serve in the AF reserves, have served 3 tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan since 2001 in the AF reserves. Please support your troops also.
