About Me

Longtime Sox fan, pre-Red Sox Nation, beginning with the Impossible Dream season of 1967 (You can see my favorite team is those guys). At the time, I was a just a pre-teen kid scoring the WS games on the scorecard provided on back page of the Boston Record American (aka Boston Herald). The tough endings of 1975, 1978, 1986 and 2003 were all exorcised with the championship of 2004 (and the comeback win against Dem Yanks). Now with a second championship in 2007 I am grateful but yet not satisfied - I want MORE.

I am very impressed with J-Bay and hope his arrival has sparked a new excitement and momentum for the Sox. The wins over the As may not be "big" wins but I think they are meaningful ones towards the team's moving forward.

Hi Heart, thanks for friending me - Do you think that the term "Bay" State might be taking on a whole new meaning? He's looked pretty darn good so far and it appears the team has responded also, although it was only the A's we were playing. Let's see how Jason and company does on the road!
