Q: Who is your favorite player?
A: Jim Rice
Q: What was the best season?
A: 2004
Q: My most memorable Red Sox related memory is...
A: Being in Boston during the 2004 parade, standing in the cold drizzle, and loving every freakin' second of it!!! It truly felt like I was in the middle of something special!!! Oh, and talking to my 93 year old grandfather on the day after the World Series clincher and hearing him say, "They did it for me, they finally won it for me!!!!".
Q: If I owned the Red Sox I would...
A: continue the work that Theo and John Henry have started. I mean, those guys pulled us into the light, you know!!!
Q: If I could ask one current or former Red Sox player or owner one question, I would ask...
A: I would ask John McNamara why he didn't put Dave Stapleton in at first base in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. I mean, Bill Buckner could barely stand and while he was a gamer, he needed to be sitting on the bench!!!!!
Q: The Yankees are...
A: a vile, rancid stain!!! I hate them with the white hot intensity of 1000 suns!!!!
Q: My favorite stadium other then Fenway Park is...
A: Camden Yards in Baltimore. I mean, what a great place to watch a game, particularly since it is always full of Sox fans when the Sox come to town!!
Q: I wish Fenway Park had...
A: less obstructed view seats :-)

Originally from W Mass and living down in MD after a job relocation. It seems like I am not alone down here being a member of Sox Nation, though. I mean, have you seen a Sox/Orioles game at Camden Yards?? It is like Fenway South, I swear!!!! I am absolutely stoked that the Sox have finally beaten the MFY's to win the division and I am looking forward to an awesome playoff run!!!! I went to the 2004 parade and, if the Sox can do it again, there WILL be another road trip in my future!!! GO SOX!!!!!

Our Father, who art at Fenway... Baseball be thy game. They Kingdom come, Playoffs need to be won, On Earth, then on to the Cask 'n' Flagon. Give us this day, a perfect Papi, And forgive us our losses, As we forgive those, Like Bill Buckner. And lead us not, into desperation, But deliver us from any losses. For thine is the Power, And the Glory, To beat the Indians, Forever and ever....the Yankees suck Amen posted @ 10/18/2007, 2:34pm |

Yup - that's the great thing about RSN - we have the soul and the spirit!! I wrote a poem late last night and posted it as a blog called "Ode of a Sawxhead in Nevada" along those lines; I think everyone in the chat room would enjoy it - check it out. :) -Christine posted @ 10/17/2007, 10:41pm |
