About Me
Mini Fenway Park is a nonprofit and 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization, whose mission is to build for children ages 4 to 17 throughout Red Sox Nation a kid size Fenway Park for youth baseball, softball and tee ball programs. Mini Fenway Park will be located several miles south of Boston in the Quarry Hills section of the Blue Hills Reservation in Quincy, Massachusetts. Directly off exit 8 on Interstate 93. Mini Fenway Park will be enclosed during the winter months, from November 1st to May 1st. Boys & Girls throughout Red Sox Nation will be able to "play ball" year round! Winter leagues, corporate functions, birthday parties and many mini Fenway events with past, present and future Red Sox players will all be taking place here at mini Fenway Park. Complete with a Little League sized replica of Fenway Park, sports bar, food court, restaurant, theatre, game room, musuem and indoor batting cages. Our Dream Team consists of past and present players who have supported the mini Fenway Project. Mr. Tiant and Mr. Yastrzemski are mini Fenway Board of Director members and have supported the project from the very start. Curt and Shonda Schilling have given mini Fenway Park their time for several events that have supported the project. Golden Glove 1st Baseman Kevin Youkilis is the first "current" Red Sox player to purchase a Fenway Park MA License Plate (his uniform #20) to help support the mini Fenway Park Project. Mr. Petrocelli, Mr. Montgomery and Mr. Monbouquette (can't add anymore pitchers) have all also given their time to past benefit events for mini Fenway. Mr. Doerr is on our board of directors. Also a board member is Ms. Mary Pratt. Ms. Pratt was inducted as one of the first members of the women’s baseball wing of the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
