Earl Wilson once said, "A baseball game is simply a nervous breakdown divided into nine innings". Obviously, he was a Red Sox fan. Baseball is a game built on a simple premise: throw the ball and hit the ball. And yet, it is so much more complicated than that, which is of course what makes the game great. Anyone can play the game, only a few can dominate it and no one, despite all the statistical analysis in the world (and I do love statistical analysis), can explain everything that happens on the ballfield. What an amazing game.

I think your right. Everyone seems to be thinking with their hearts about these trade rumors. It would be amazing to add Santana to that pitching rotation...but I guess we will just have to wait and see.
