About Me

I've been following the Red Sox since the only team they were ahead of was the Washington Senators! Although I live in Yankee-land, I have never strayed. I was a finalist for president of Red Sox Nation, but somehow, 12 other people and I were dropped by the Red Sox "electoral college" and replaced by 12 other people and Big Pupi, the dog from Texas. (As a side note, when I was in the eighth grade at Bicknell Junior High School in Weymouth, Mass., I wrote a paper decrying the Electoral College in the United States, saying it was no longer needed for reasons that would take a five-page paper to explain. How prophetic was that?) Now, did we REALLY need a Red Sox electoral college, I ask you? The original finalists were the originals! I guess I should be happy to have been on that list, but...How cool would it have been to live among the Yankee fans and be president of RSN, I ask you??? I am waiting to hear the results of the "gubernatorial election" for RSN now. I "ran" for governor of New York. The hanging chads are being counted as we speak...

FROM RSN PAGE: Thank you to all those who applied for the position of Red Sox Nation Governor. We are in the process of carefully considering each application, and Jerry and Rob will announce their appointments within the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

I really liked your side on the Buchz blog. I just dont like hearing people talk bad about ANYONE on our team. I wasnt defending Gags last year but he is still on our roster, you know! The way some people here turn in a heart beat is just wrong!

Did you catch Mays & Aaron on Bob Costas show on HBO? Bob Gibson is in the audience-some very witty banter. Check your listing they are repeating it at different times. They are on the last half-hour of the show. I posted a small clip in yesterdays News & Rumors!
