who actually started laughing at the end of the game when rivera BARELY got the save against the sox today? dont get me wrong i was pissed we lost but i mean did u see how excited the crowd at yankee stadium got for that win? sure, even royals fans act happy when they win a game but i just found it funny because they were certainly lucky to win this one at the end and their team is playing no better than .500 ball, they are in third and i saw yankee fans actually talkin junk to sox fans like this win was a playoff game or something. guess i should have expected it from skanks fans.
on another note, ill give mussina his props for the win, but it certainly is frustrating that we cant tattoo a guy who throws 86. i know guys like jamie moyer are still gettin people out while throwing soft but he's a lefty. i cant in my right mind fathom how a righty throwing that junk at the plate looks unhittable. i know guys in the majors generally are geared to hit 90+ cheese but still, mussina has been around a while and he nibbles the corners. get a scouting report together and hit this guy. no excuse.
