IF ANOTHER DEER HITS MY VAN....

ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO, ON A SUNDAY NIGHT, I LEFT WORK AND ON A BUSY STREET A DEER RAN AT ME AND HIT MY FRONT AND KEPT GOING..HE WASNT HURT AND NO DAMAGE TO MY CAR, SCARED ME BUT THAT WAS IT.

LAST NIGHT, SUNDAY NIGHT COMING HOME FROM WORK ON RT 236, DRIVING ABOUT 50 MPH, A DEER RAN INTO THE SIDE OF MY VAN, CREAMED MY FENDER, BROKE MY HEADLIGHT AND BENT MY DOOR....DONT KNOW WHERE HE WENT BUT I DONT THINK HE SURVIVED..MY KID FREAKED OUT!!! I HAVE HAD THIS INS CO FOR ONLY 3 MONTHS

GET ME OUT OF MAINE DAMAGE WAS ASSESSED AT 3500$$$$$$$$

	It's not much different in upstate NY. I spend more time looking at the sides of the road when I drive, especially in deer hunting season! They're everywhere up here, and, even though they're beautiful, they're as dumb as cows! I've had SEVERAL near misses! 10:52 AM

	Yeah, in upstate New York, they're all over the place. When I come home late from the radio station on Saturday night/Sunday morning, I have had a lot of near misses. I was thinking that at least it wasn't a moose, too, Pohlonius! 11:06 AM

	Lol. You dont blow the whistles they mount on your vehicle to scare the deers off. They look like a bullet and mount on your hood. 6:44 AM

	My husband had the same thing happen to him: a deer ran right for him, hit his driver's side window and ran off! His face was inches from its face! 4:30 PM

	those whistlers work. for all animals. i have seen animals react when they are near the side of the road when i drive by them. their heads perk up and they run off. "most of the time" anyway. 9:49 AM
