I am a HUGE basball fan & have an obsession with our beloved BOSTON RED SOX. Living in central New York State, I'm surrounded by yankees fans but I can dish it out with the best of them. TIMMY WAKEFIELD is THE MAN! He is a great contributor in giving back to the Boston community through various charitable causes. I recently took a page from Wake's book and organized Jimmy Fund events in my home town and also helped answer phones at the 2008 WEEI/NESN JIMMY FUND TELETHON. Beside being a Sox fan, I'm a musician. I perform with a Celtic/Irish band called "Cliudan"

I appreciate the sentiment but BAH, it isn't about who's right, eating words and what not. It's about us going to the ALCS. Tampa is gonna be a problem, no doubt about it, but if we play like we can, we should take the series. Hope you're ready for another week or so of TBS. Varitek usually hits well in October but he's had a down year, maybe he's having a down October too. (I'm okay with that, he could hit .100 as long as he does what he does behind the plate.) Maybe Lowrie is just a slow post season starter and will kick it up eventually. In any case we got Lester going tonight and he's been great all year. And we can definitely handle Lackey.
