Fights at Games

Ok im fed up with this. When I buy tickets at 70 a peice for a game.. Im going to watch the entire game.. I understand that at a visiting stadium you are going to get hassled, and I can respect that and take it with the best of them, HOWEVER I will not take someone deliberatly trying to start sh1t. I can understand you love your team..no matter how terrible they might be, and I can understand that you get frustrated when the visiting team has more fans there than your home team.. BUT WHO'S FAULT IS THAT!! The Sox fans buy the tickets because they are available.. if your busted ass city gave more support for your sorry ass team we wouldnt have tickets to buy. but I digress. back to the topic.. So Im trying to use the restroom when I hear someone directly next to me yell F^ck Boston, Go Home etc etc, now I dont know about anyone else but the first thing I learned as a little boy was when your at the urinal its Eyes forward mouth shut, Unless you know the person next to you than you may engage in conversation.. well this kid must have either been a little light in the loafers OR he wasnt brought up properly because he continued to talk sh1t. Finally he said do you live in MD.. I said YES I do.. and he got pissed because I wasnt an Orioles fan.. Apparently people cant move, and if they DO move they must root for whatever team is playing in their general area.. Well that was my response to this kid.. and maybe some smartass remark about if I ever move again Ill be sure and let him know for approval and I MIGHT have called him a douchebag.. but thate niether here nor there.. fact of the matter is.. if your paying for tickets SHUT UP and enjoy the game.. Talk trash by all means.. but know when to drop it.. dont take it to the next level because thats no good for anyone

right on, when i was at the sox/yankees game at FENWAY, there was a guy that was talking sh*&t about the sox to everyone in the section. worst part was he had brought his daughters to the game that looked no older than 10. since sox fans are not boorish, rude, and classless like your average yankees fan, everyone refrained from putting this guy in his place in front of his kids, and just let him shut up on his own when pap stuck out arod with 3 pitches

I was in Camden last year for a series last year, one in which Beckett was lights out and the next day Millar hit a walk off home run against Gagne. All throughout the game the Orioles fans were complete idiots. Yelling and screaming at myself and my 13 year old sister as we watched the game. We were right field side, about six rows from the line, with Manny right in our face. The Sox lost the game and you would've thought that the Orioles won the world Series, every person from Baltimore got free hand jobs, and the Lottery number was 1 and everyone had a ticket. Long and short, I told them to get Brian Roberts a pair of golf clubs for his birthday, because he likes playing golf in October. I also said, on the spot, that I would bet three thousand dollars with anyone there that the Sox would go on to win the World Series, and double or nothing that they would sweep. A lot of big talkers in Baltimore, but no one ponied up.

	Amazing what alcohol will do for some fans,I have been to Camden Yards twice and never had a problem with anyone. If they don't like Sox fans taking over their stadium,then buy the tickets themselves,if not we will gladly take them for them and turn Camden into Fenway of the Mid-Atlantic 1:16 PM

The last time I was in Camden Yards, we had no problems. We were wearing all our Sox gear and everything. People around us were very friendly, but they did ask us why so many Red Sox fans came to Balitmore to see the Sox play. When we explained about how hard it was to get tickets, they were very understanding, with the exception of one woman behind me who kept making little comments about the Red Sox. The funny thing was, it was so obvious that she knew nothing about baseball, so I just ignored her. Nothing compares to the names my daughter has been called when she's gone to Yankee stadium during a Sox-Yankees game. I REFUSE to give my hard-earned money to anyone in the Steinbrenner family, so I WILL NOT GO to Yankee Stadium...
