Wow! What were the Yankees thinking, to get an infielder to replace A-Rod if he gets hurt.  I mean as we all know the yankees need pitching and a bat but not an extra infielder.  Im starting this is going to be a waste year for the yankees.

HEHE

They didn't add Betemit in case A-Rod gets hurt, they added him in case A-Rod leaves after the season.

Yes, besides all the bad publicity in New York lately, the love affair between Jeter and Arod is over. He may very well be looking to move on and leave the memories in New York behind him. =P

Another bullpen implosion yesterday for the Yanks....during which Scott Proctor may have been a better choice than Farnsworth. The Yanks answer to their bullpen woes is to call up a kid who started the year at the advanced A level as a starter, and putting him in some relief situations as he is called up to AAA for the first time. That was an awful move for the Yanks.

I should clarify the above comment (and not post prior to having my second cup of coffee on any given day): -trading Proctor for Betemit was the awful mofe for the Yanks -trying to fit Joba Chamberlain in Proctor's spot in some sort of playoff push is pretty risky for the Yanks in 2007 and could really mess up Chamberlain's career if he isn't ready.

i like the move, they should call him up for his first appearance against the sox so we can injure his leg or go back to back to back to back on him like the other two pitching prospects they tried to pull on us earlier this year.

Wow!! That's sad to hear about the Boss. Even though I dislike the Yankees, it's tough to see someone dealing with the dimentia that George is alleged to have. God Bless Him.

If you had watched Seinfeld, you would have seen this coming. After he starting talking in the third person it was over.

Hey guys the Yanks can score as many runs as they want they have to not only out score but out WIN teams they face or compete against. Poor George wasnt able to read good baseball stats like Moneyball, maybe CASH-Man was. I will always trust in the Sox with Bill James on our side-- the number one (unnoticeed reason why the Six won the WS in 04). We WILL get there.
