I am very ecstatic about the dramatic comeback by Boston this past week, and am looking foward to the series to come. Here are some of my thoughts:
Why is Daisuke getting torched so bad?
I think we need to give the man a break. This is his first year in the best hitting league in the world, he is used to six days of rest rather than five, he is used to a shorter season, and he is used to only having 5 opponents. In my oppinion, he did enough to help us get this far, and...

We have to look on the bright side. Many thought Dice K had hit the wall and his season was finished, some wondering who could replace him. Well last night he proved 1) he can still pitch! 2) he can pitch in big playoff atmosphere games 3) he can pitch against the Yankees. I know it was very hard to watch that game last night, but let's stay positive! 4.5 games up, and Beckett today!

Matsuzaka, Beckett, Schill
Same pitchers as last series. Except...it's at Fenway! Let's look at it like this: Boston has 3 games against Tampa Bay. Game 1: Schill vs. Kazmir. That can really go either way, but I think Schill has been pitching well, in his last 3 games he is 1-1 with a 2.84 era, not too shabby. Game 2: Wake vs. Sonnanstine. Wake is 19-2 lifetime against Tampa, and we have pounded on Sonnanstine both times we've faced him. That should be an easy victory. Game 3: Lester vs....

Who does Joba the Hut think he is! Going after Youk's head, not once but twice! All because Youk legally dodged two tags, but got screwed the second time around! The nerve of those fans giving him a standing O. I hope the fat load enjoys his day off, lazy piece of crap.

I can't stand JD Drew. We started him over the red hot Bobby Kielty, against a LEFTY! And look how he's performing. He's gotten the third out I think three times with men on, including the 8th with runners on 1st and 2nd! I can't stand it any more, it makes me sick.

11-3, 10-1, 14-2... If they win big again tomorrow they will have so much momentum going into the Bronx. Let's say the Yankees drop one either tonight or tomorrow night, and we get it done tomorrow... We have a 7.5 game lead going into a series with pitching matchups of Matsuzaka vs. Pettite, Beckett vs. Clemens, and Schilling vs. Wang, which with the momentum they have the Red Sox should win at least 2 of those games, increasing the lead to either 8.5 or 10.5!
