Matsuzaka, Beckett, Schill Same pitchers as last series. Except...it's at Fenway! Let's look at it like this: Boston has 3 games against Tampa Bay. Game 1: Schill vs. Kazmir. That can really go either way, but I think Schill has been pitching well, in his last 3 games he is 1-1 with a 2.84 era, not too shabby. Game 2: Wake vs. Sonnanstine. Wake is 19-2 lifetime against Tampa, and we have pounded on Sonnanstine both times we've faced him. That should be an easy victory. Game 3: Lester vs. Jackson. Jackson has been getting pounded left and right all year, and Lester just threw seven scoreless against Baltimore, and I think he will shut down Tampa. This looks like an easy 3 game sweep of a team playing for pride. Let's check out the Yankees-Jays series. Hughes vs. Marcum, Mussina vs. McGowan, Kennedy vs. Burnett. Are you kidding me?! I think the Yankee offense will only be enough to take one of those games. So if things go according to plan, the Red Sox should be 7.5 up going into Friday's game. If we sweep, the Yankees will be down 10.5 games, with 12 games to go. If we take 2 out of 3, its 8.5 with 12 to go. I like our chances.
