| The Red Sox will be in KC for a 4 game series in September, 21-24. I am organizing a trip up there for all 4 games and am trying to find more people that want to go.
This is an event being put on by some of the Governor's of Red Sox Nation, Me, Niki form NE, Bob from ND, and Misty from MO. Each one of us is bring a group of people to the games.
As of right no we have 25 people confirmed for Monday the 21st. I will be purchasing tickets on Friay or Saturday of theis week....

Just about 20 minutes ago ESPN reported that John Henry announced that would "Not be a factor" in the Teixeira deal.
This is quite confusing to me. Weare the front runners on the verge of signing him and then a mysterious team outbids the Red Sox at the eleventh hour.
I have a feeling that this may be some type of ploy. Maybe to take some of the attention of the Red Sox.

| Today is September 3rd and the Red Sox are 3.5 games out of first place. The Rays have 15 more games combined against the Y******, Twins, and the Red Sox. Not to mention that the remaining games are mostly against the the Tigers and Toronto. The most inportant part of the schedules is that the Rays and Red Sox will play eachother 6 more times before the end of the season. | OK, this past Wednesday, August 6th, I went to the Red Sox vs. Royals game in KC. It was awesome, we had great seats and a pretty good cluster of Sox fans in our immediate area. everything was going grat until about the 7th inning. At this point Papelbon was starting to loosen up in the bullpen and I had on my green Papelbon T-Shirt.

| Tonight we all caught a glimpse of not David Ortiz, but "Big Papi" of old, immediatley taking me back to game 4 of the ALCS in '04.
