Sorry to here of his passing...he was a player from an era when players were of a different breed;not too many of the stat-driven,me first kind back then.He always played hard,it just seemed he played harder against the Red Sox. I'm sure Yankee Nation is mourning his loss...another great Yankee player who won't be at the final Old Timers game at the Stadium this summer...may he rest in peace.
