Can Wake Pitch in a Monsoon or What? Nice Bounceback!
September 13, 2008

I don't blog very often here, but I wanted to give props to Wake for a gem of an outing tonight in some pretty nasty weather.   After getting shelled in Texas, he certainly turned it around tonight, against a red-hot team no less.    He and Manny Delcarmen shut out the Jays as the rain poured down at  Fenway.    Wake went  eight  innings, allowing only three hits and not a Blue Jay crossed the plate.    Good offensive support by Lowrie, Big Papi, and Cash, by the way.

Great win and as nice as it was to see Wake go 8, I like the way MDC looks as of late. He could be a huge help if he keeps this up.
