How easy they forget

If Papi wasn’t in tonight’s lineup I know Manny would have been in at DH, the man is hurting and couldn’t play the field period.. I’m sick of all this Manny is trying to get back at management crap. That fine was levied weeks ago and you think he waited until the Skanks were in town to pull some payback power play on the “Suits” please. Manny is in his option year and knows exactly how important his play on the field is to his future. He may rattle a few cages in the press but he isn’t going to hang his teammates out to dry! That isn’t his style. Manny has more pressure on him night in and night out than anyone on this team. At the beginning of this season He had two close friends in that locker room two men who understood who he is and what makes him tick. One was cut “Tavarez” and Papi who has been out hurt himself and not in the locker-room for close to two months. Meanwhile Manny is left to carry the load.with no one really to lean on or blow off steam with. Do you think JD would have put up the numbers he did in the first half if he wasn’t hitting in front of the Scariest bat in the game today? Let me answer that for you HELL NO. do you think if the situation had been reversed and it was Manny and not Ortiz out all this time we would still be in this race? I digress HELL NO. if Manny says he’s hurting he’s hurting! The rest of you calling for his head know where you can go… Hell, no? or cable access your choice
