It's still REALLY early in the season and I'd much rather have sickness and slumps come early rather than late.  I'm very happy with our farm system in general, but this season has been especially great.  We have a lot of young talent who are really stepping up to the plate when they get that call.  Masterson pitched incredibly and I for see him being utilized more this season.  Especially with our middle-relief in their slump. 

I'm confident that we can sweep the Jays this series to push them even further back in the standings.  Not only that, but so that we can get back to work on Tampa Bay.  Those guys are surprisingly decent this season, but not near as good as our BoSox are and we need to shut them up.  Acting like they won the World Series irked me a tad (as I'm sure it did everybody) when they won that final game.  We WILL shut them up.  I have the Faith. 

Our SP's have been performing PHENOMINALLY so far.  I have absolutely ZERO complaints when it comes to them.  They're really getting out there and getting the job done.  Again, if only we could produce more runs.   We've only scored 2 runs in 31 2/3 innings and hit into countless double-plays.  Our pitchers need the bat support.  Again, just remain faithful.  It's still early in the season and we'll bounce back in no time. 

Our defense is great as well.  Last night's heroics from our pivot man proved that.  We have the heart to accomplish great things.  LET'S GO RED SOX!
