RESPECT/LOYALTY/FAMILY...RED SOX MAFIA member and proud to be!!! A big part of my life is the RED SOX. Ok, maybe I take it to an obsession at times. But this is my passion and as much as I love the Red, White, and Blue of our nations flag I have that same love for the Red Sox, Red Sox Mafia, and all of you here at Red Sox Nation (TRUE FANS)!!! Born into it you could say...Dad was a Southie, Mom was from the Bronx, No she wasn't a Stankees fan, she grew up liking the Mets with my Grandfather, but through the years was brought back to the light. I have a big family with split loyalties but for the most part we are Red Sox fans. I'm a 33 yr-old former Military/USAF SpecOps member, been to hell and back ("FIRST THERE" is the motto) and former semi-pro football player as a FB/RB (2002-2007). While in the military I was stationed in California.(next to Lompoc, CA.) also Florida but spent a fair share of time in the Middle East (Iraq, Saudi, Kuwait, U.A.E, & Jordan). I was going to make the military a career but my HS sweetheart and I split and she returned home to CT as I did to be with my son. I was born in Kansas as an Army brat and have also lived in Wyoming, Texas, and Kuwait. I take lots of pride in my Spartan, Celtic, Viking, and Native American heritage (Greek, Irish, German, & Sioux). I'm a insurance underwriter for Aetna and a South Meriden Firefighter but after first leaving the military was a police officer in New Britain, CT. for 4 years (2001-2005). You can make a great living as a cop but your family does suffer because of it. With the insurance business you not only make a great living but have a great work/life balance. Love the fire dept and work a good amount of hours there too. The work there is much more rewarding than that I did for the police dept. Everyone likes a firefighter right??? LOL. FIND'EM HOT...LEAVE'EM WET!!! For you hotties I'll just throw you over my shoulder and bring you home. I currently hold a national certification as a wrestling coach and coach a youth wrestling program in which my son is a state champion. (Brett age 9)
If I'm not working, you will always find me with my family. I enjoy training in mixed martial arts, (Pankration, Jiu-Jitsu & Krav Maga) Red Sox baseball, Steelers football, bass fishing at my cottege in Bethlehem, CT., hiking, rock climbing, skydiving, and a game of golf and tennis on occasion, music...HATEBREED RULES!!! (One of my closest friends, Chris is the bass player), also enjoy just going out cruising in a boat and enjoying the wind, water, and sights that surround me.
My life is very busy and I believe in...AND always live life to the fullest. I believe in fate so with that said I tend to be pretty extreme...What happens, happens. I'm kind of down to earth but also aggressive if that makes sence. I am a wild child so to say and will claim full responsibility for every gray hair my mother has. My name is Mike but nickname is Grizzly (as given to me by my military brothers and has stayed with me ever since) and I'm 5'7"/215lbs, dark brown hair, & green eyes.
