About Me

RED SOX BABY!!! I am an avid Sox fan. Born into being a fan, but truly came into my own love for the team in the early 1990's. I have been to Fenway a dozen or so times- but it is too expensive... I have been to Spring Training at the City of Palms and most recently Camden Yards.
I have a beautiful son who throws with his left hand is a switch hitter at the age of 4! And am pregnant with the next baby girl Sox fan born into it... Who may I add will NOT wear anything PINK and RED SOX together- I have a wonderful husband who is so happy his wife loves the Sox as much as he does...I actually think I love them more!!!
Other than the Sox... (is there life other than the Sox?) I truly don't have much free time chasing my son around but when there is some... Music is a big part of my life, also scrapbooking, pilates, travel, camping, shopping, movies, dancing, reading & tattoos... I'm really interested in paranormal research too. I love to be scared.
And as for my favorite player below... I love them all.... hard to pick one.

99% of my wardrobe is Sox gear so I can show off my love~ i have a wall of sox pics from the paper in the back room at work~ i watch every game and when i can't i have it on the radio~and when the season is over i am so sad~ but love the hot stove!! ! i just booked a trip for my big 30 to see the sox in baltimore at camden yards! i am stoked for that! i have been to the City of Palms to see the boys in spring training~ my home is lovingly decorated in sox memorabilia~ i have saved every ticket stub to every game i have been to as far back as the 1980's~ my cell phone and home message says "go sox". i have a sox license plate! i was so psyched to move back to mass (born and raised here!) to get that plate and to get away from those damn yankee fans in ct~ i loved giving them a hard time in 2004! i handed out bandaids for all their boo-boos after the ALCS & the WS... i watched every game of the yankees series last year~ man that was tough- i still don't like talking about that one~ i laid in the hospital after i had my son in 2003~ Oct 16~ with my red sox blankie and cried..that was tough too...but as you know being a sox fan is oh so very full of heartaches~ i have endured a lot of them~ i tell my friends being such a sox fan is like being bi-polar~ you love them one minute and hate them the next~ what went wrong this game or that player~ but at the end of the season love them- and forgive them and look forward to next season. ~ ok so maybe i go a little bit overboard~ but i want everyone and anyone to know i love the boston red sox!!!! and raising a child to be a sox fan is so fullfilling~ he knew the sox at an early age and the first thing we bought him when i found out i was having a boy was a red sox jacket~ i love to hear him cheer "go red sox" and know players names~ to hear a baby say "coco crisp" is just so damn adorable~ by the way he is a lefty :) and is a switchitter~ and he's only four~ we hope he grows up to be a pitcher for the sox~ make mom and dad proud ya know~ and he doesn't like the yankees either~ good boy! i just re-read this and realized i sound crazy! but it is that craziness that excites me all year long~ chit chatting about the game with friends~ i talk about these guys like i know them personally~ lots of men are actually surprised when i start talking about the game~ like they don't expect a chick to know the sox like i do~being tired and red eyed after watching a west coast series~ but not be able to go to bed until the game ends~ looking forward to hearing jerry remy say "buenos noches amigos" and hear him and don crack up over random things most not including baseball~ and listening to the game in the car and enjoying it in a completely different way than you do on tv~ but i do love my widescreen HD tv that we bought just for the world series~ the clarity was so crisp~ the grass so green~ and actually being in fenway is a feeling like no other~ last season i bought tickets for the third row field box next to the dugout~ i paid freekin 300.00 for these tickets and had to wait the whole season to go since the game was in september and i bought them in april!!!!~ i was so excited to go~ when we finally got there i handed my tickets over to a gentleman who looked like he had worked there his whole life~ a man who loved his job~ he must have sensed the feeling of overwhelmedness in my eyes as they set on the field~ i had never had such excellent seats in my life~ "you never sat this close i can tell~ enjoy the game miss" as he dusted off my seat. it was thrilling to have the guys up so close and it was pesky's birthday~ he sat right next to us! i took some amazing pictures at that game~ and even tho they got spanked by the devil rays it was one of the best nights of my life~ i don't get to fenway enough~ but would be devasted if they ever tore that park down~ knock on wood!! i'm sure there are a lot more things i love about the sox~ or a memory i have~ but i think you get the idea~ i am a red sox girl~ enough said~
