I am a single mother of a beautiful 7 year old girl. I was basically born a Red Sox fan....Over the years, I have had a few fave players, but one that will always remain in my heart because he always gave a valiant effort is...Doug Mirabelli. Now I know some of you may be saying...Mirabelli? Why? He may have only played once every 5 games and offensively wasnt the greatest, but at least he swung and swung like he meant it, every at bat!!!
