About Me

I'm lucky enough to have been born into a RS family. Dad was a big fan, Mom knew the score and her Dad (Papa) was the definition of a Diehard. He's one of the millions we all felt '04 was about, those that never saw it in life but we know they were helping from beyond.

Dad took us to a game every year, what a treat! Didn't know how hard it would be when I had my own kids. I take them though, we just limit the consumables.

I remember.... listening to the afternoon Series games in '67... suffering through years of heart-breaking losses and collapses... maybe the best Series ever against the Big Red Machine... Bucky Bleepin'... being strikes away from a Series win (BillyBucks should not have been on the field, it was a defensive replacement situation)... and the sweetest feeling in the world from Dave's swipe of second right to the end with even St. Louis citizens happy for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year felt pretty damned special. We're used to winning now and expect to make the playoffs, but swagger is a wonderful thing.

	It's so exciting to watch the pregame show! You can feel the electricity in the air, along with the wind chill lol...I still say I'm happier to be playing the Indians and not the Stankees.
