Manny trade: My message to Red Sox Nation

Sox trade Manny, Graig Hansen and Brandon Moss and get back one player, a nice player but one player. And don't get any bullpen or any other kind of pitching help. Good luck Theo, but if you are expecting a repeat of 2004 when you traded Nomar Garciapparra midseason and win a World Series then I think you are sadly mistaken.

To all you Manny haters in Red Sox Nation, you got what you wanted. I'll tell you what you won't get though now; The Red Sox in the playoffs cause it ain't gonna happen.

Now watch the Dodgers make a run in the NL

Excuse me "Knarfy", sorry if you don't agree with my opinion or that I don't blindly follow John Henry, Tom Werner, Theo Epstein and Larry Lucchino and all of their decisions. I will certainly wish Jason Bay the best, I hope he plays 10 years with the Sox and goes to the All Star game every year, but Manny Ramirez did more in 8 years in that line-up than any hitter in recent memory winning 2 World Series titles, a WS MVP, batting title, RBI titles and that deserves something. I agree with you Outlaw. It feels like a chunk of the team is missing without Manny. I kept reading article after article making sure I didn't miss something with us not getting anyone else but Bay. I'd liked to hear what Farrell has to say on all of this. Offense is great but defense is what helped big time in 07. 	Another blog from someone that feels that one player is above (or "makes") this team. Bay has had an outstanding season in Pittsburgh, PITTSBURGH, what kind of protection does he get in that line up? NOT THE PROTECTION HE WILL GET IN BOSTON! I didn't say one player was above or makes the team, don't judge me or throw me in some category. What makes you think you know everything? They won't get back to being the scrappy fun loving team of the past cause Theo doesn't want the so called "idiots" on his team, he want the no emotion ball players that have defined the Yankees this decade. That's why he dismantled the 04 team so fast.
