Oh to Be Hated...

Attended the shutout tonight in the Bronx. Incredible doesn't even begin to describe it. And there were more Sox fans there than I expected. Such a great feeling.
The Yankee fans were....interesting, and sadly, amusing. They used to make fun of us, but now, in general (of course) they HATE us.
Oh to be hated...it felt so GOOD!
I heard one Yankee fan say, "Why the F*ck are there so many f*uckin Sox fans here?"
Because...we're the greatest fan base in baseball. And we know faith where they will never know it. By the 7th inning, the stadium was emptying of Yankee fans like a drunken man's bladder -- all over the place.
The best they could come up with was "You guys got lucky tonight."
They're so right. I am lucky. But not just tonight. Every night. I was born a Red Sox fan. And if that means I'm going to be hated now because of the team's success, so be it!
Being hated never felt so good, so good, so good!
