I am however humbled by the best fans in Baseball. The RED SOX FANS. you guys have shown me that not only do we support the best damn team in all of baseball but we support each other and keep even a firefighter over in Iraq such as myself abreast of what the team is doing and how the game went when I can...

fireman
A good friend had this and passed this along.. please read and enjoy..
My father was a fireman, he drove a big red truck, And when he'd go to work each night, he'd say, "Mother wish me luck". Then Dad would not come home again, 'til sometime the next day, But the thing that bothered me most, was the things some folks would say....

I am now getting into the groove of what needs to be accomplished around here and let me say that working everyday, day in and day out is getting old espically when it doesn't seem to stop, so much to do when there is so little time to get it done. Time management is totally what this gig is all about. I wish it would be a chnage from the norm but around here that isn't te case at all. so that is just the way it goes around here. One of these days I'll get some mail and see a package come...

To all those who keep tabs on me..
I would just like to send a special thanks to my family memebers for their countless support and unwavering love during this trying time of heading over to Iraq. With that out of the way I still have a bunch of people to thank on here espically.. Those Brothers and Sister who are known as the Red Sox Mafia.
For those of you who are on the outside looking in.. at these people and casting dispursions their way.. let me tell you that these...

Holiday military tradition

Farrow~~RSM~~ wrote this 11 months ago on |
A place is set for fallen or missing soldiers at military functions as well as some members of the military set an empty place setting in their homes on the holidays. The stroy behind it is listed below.
The table is usually set by the main stage or podium for everyone to see.
You will see it when you enter, and you will see it when you leave. It draws your eyes because it is meant to. And because it draws your eyes it draws your thoughts. And though it will be there...

Our Father, who art at Fenway... Baseball be thy game. They Kingdom come, Playoffs need to be won, On Earth, then on to the Cask 'n' Flagon. Give us this day, a perfect Papi, And forgive us our losses, As we forgive those, Like Bill Buckner. And lead us not, into desperation, But deliver us from any losses. For thine is the Power, And the Glory, To beat the Indians, Forever and ever....the Yankees suck

The call was ment to be.. seeing that my timing was spot on.. The Res Sox were playing the evening of the 5th of Oct. your time back...

Red Sox in Saudi

Farrow~~RSM~~ wrote this 1 year ago on |
A Boston Red Sox fan, a Chicago Cubs fan and a NY Yankees fan were all in Saudi Arabia performing military duty for the US Army.
While off base, they were caught sharing a smuggled case of booze. All of a sudden Saudi police rushed in & arrested them. The mere possession of alcohol is a severe offense in Saudi Arabia, so for the terrible crime they were sentenced to death!
With the help of good lawyers, they were able to successfully appeal their sentence down to life imprisonment.

Yankees fan joke

Farrow~~RSM~~ wrote this 1 year ago on |
A teacher asks her students if they're Yankees fans. All of the hands go up except for one student. "Okay, Bobby. What team are you a fan of?"
"The Red Sox."
"Why's that?" "Well, my parents are both Red Sox fans, so I'm a Red Sox fan too."
"That's not a good answer, Bobby. If your parents were both morons, would you be a moron too?"
"No, that would make me a Yankees fan!"

A must read joke for the true Red Sox...

One foggy night, a Yankees fan was heading north from New York and a Red Sox fan was driving south from Boston While crossing a narrow bridge, they hit each other head-on, mangling both cars. The Red Sox fan manages to climb out of his car and survey the damage.
He looks at his twisted car and says, "Man, I'm lucky to be alive!"
Likewise, the Yankees fan gets out of his car uninjured, he too feeling fortunate to have survived.
The Yankees fan walks over to the Red Sox fan and says,...
