About Me

I'm currently serving our country and more importantly serving our fighting men and women here in IRAQ. For those of you opposed to the War, you might as well leave this page now and not read any further. I am who I am and I use to love what I do. You may or may not agree with why we are here but, I am here to ensure that fighting men and women from our country come home safe and sound.. To serve my fellow man in his time of need is more important than any political statement that you can EVER come up with. That's the reason I'm here and your sitting back in the states yelling from your couch at the T.V.
I'm a Firefighter here in Iraq, Away from my Beautiful Wife and two beautiful Daughters.
I'm far away from my home and family and Fenway Park. I must have to admit that through the internet I sometimes am able to stay in touch with the Loyal "RSM" (Red Sox Mafia) Brothers and sisters back in the states and most importantly with my family.
I must admit I catch a game every now and again on a real television if I'm lucky, but most of the times I have to rely on the internet (if it is working out here) to keep up with how the SOX are doing. Too many miles in between and I have a demanding job trying to save lives and make it home safely with all my fingers and toes to my family and loved ones.
THIS IS IT.. THIS IS MY LAST GO AROUND.. I AM HEADING HOME FOLKS.. This is it folks I am gearing down to make this my last COUPLE months here in Iraq..
I am heading home come hell or high water! Hopefully Alive and in tact.
I need to go home and be home with my family and NEVER leave their side again. I understand that they are the most important thing in my life and I can not stand to be away from them. I know being there at home will be hard but it is worth it. I have to be A BETTER FATHER AND HUSBAND.. to my family and never let them go..
I could not have done this demanding job out here everyday without the constant love and support of my beautiful and understanding WIFE and kids.. but the time has definately come to an END, I NEED my family as much as they need me in their life.. It is hard to be out here on a daily basis being cut off from the outside world.. not knowing if the last time you speak to your wife and end up in a fight over stupid stuff is going to be the last time you talk to her.. This stuff here is no game and I know that I do not ever want to not wake up not knowing or regreting that I the last words out of your mouth were not I LOVE YOU instead of something else. This is the time to walk away from this nightmare in my life and go home and be surrounded by the family that I love and Adore so much. So to them and the rest of my family..
KNOW THIS.. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF!

	As always my thoughts are with you. My daughters' b/f is home now ( grand dad passed away,so he's home for good now-troop was coming home Oct.11th anyway ) He'll be going to SC for debriefing when his troop gets back and then he'll leave for Afg. in 6 months.
