STOP BOOOING MANNY!

Come on RSN STOP BOOOING Manny are you really serious your going to boo a future Hall of Famer with over 1200 hits, 270 HR's, and 868 RBI's in a Red Sox uniform. Not to mention the 2004 MVP of the World Series yea the one that ended the 86 year drought. Manny does cause trouble and say some things he probably shouldn't but why are we booing him? The Red Sox may not be handling this situation exactly like the press says. We only hear what is printed in the paper and on T.V., it seems like everyone forgets what Manny has done for this organization and for awhile everyone loved the Manny being Manny idea and now people get angry and shake their heads. It's Manny he's always had the same mentality he just wants to play baseball and collect his check. He has made it very clear in the past that he wanted to end his career in Boston and that he loves it here. Now just because of some trade talks and some comments directed towards the Red sox we're booing Manny come on now. Manny is clearly frustrated right now about the whole situation and he has made that very clear in his comments. He may want too much money but there aren't many players available today that can hit like him. The Manny saga will always continue but the guy is an awesome player and I still love Manny he hasn't done anything to Boston fans and has always been a key to our postseason success. If he and the Sox part ways at the end of the season so be it and as long as he doesn't go to the Yankees I will always cheer Manny Ramirez.

	Bashing the team that pays him $20 million a season, and doing so repeatedly, and demanding trades every season in unforgivable. The fans are not booing him as a player, they are booing him as a humanbeing.. this last bout of manny being manny has shown that he is only out for himself.. 	Your just like most of the fans who just read the papers and articles don't believe everything the press is telling you Manny just wants to play if the Sox want to trade him then trade him but wouldn't you be frustrated just like Manny I would think after all he's done they could at least discuss the clubs future plans with him. 07/30/2008 9:18 PM

I have not seen the billboard that the Red Sox ownership put up stating that Manny was a "bad guy". He's being boo'd for the present, not the past. Just because you're an awesome ballplayer, doesn't mean you can then act and say whatever you want w/o repercussions. You ALWAYS need to be responsible for your actions. EVERY day. I hate that this happened. I hate that someone with so much talent burned so many bridges. I'm not sure what peace he is talking about but I hope he finds it.
